How well do you guys think a pair of RTi8s would timbre match to a CS2 center channell? Would something else match better for listening 95% HT?

    that's a tough one. The CS2 is made for the monitor line yet the cs2 is the only one with 6.5" drivers in the monitor line. The rti8's are 6.5" yet they're not from the same line and their sound characteristics would be different.

    My advice~ if you're set on the 8's over the monitor towers (who can blame you) then if you can, take the cs2 back and get a csi5.

    the rti8's and csi5 are a great match.

    then when the bug bites, you can take the 3 back and get a five..!

    hook yourself up with the monitor 70's. perfect for the cs2. if not, step up to the rti line.
