    Not quite what I am looking for...

    I am looking for Internal (and external) pictures of peoples speakers.

    Just external dont help me. Sorry -- thanks for your help though! Much appreciated!

    Sorry for the delayed reply... I'm not quite sure what drivers my monitor 7's have in em. Never really pulled them out or had a chance to stick my head in far enough. (or take a good enough pic to find out)

    thanx to my cat ( see description of that fiasco in the clubhouse), I have to replace my bass drivers in the Carver Platinums. while I was doing that, i remberred this thread. I hope these pics are like what your looking for

    How hard would it be to take pictures of the front of the ribbons and the back?

    And do you have any information behind the design... (a site I can refer to?)

    But other than that... that is absolutely AWESOME! lol - really... cool to get a "legendary" speaker on there. Ill try to get to it eventually....

    I'll take the pics tomorow for ya. I got the grills off the front too, might as well get a pic. you'll see the difference between the old woofers and the drop in replacement.

    only specs I got is 60 inch ribbon and 4 12" woofers per side. The woofers only do 100hz and below, wvwerything else is done by the ribbon. either 87 or 89 db eff. 8 ohm load (do a search on this site, it will get you more info) these are the platinum Mk IV

    Sid, I'll probably open up my pb12+2 & take some pictures for you to put up if you want. I also have some Swans I wouldnt mind looking into if you want pictures of those. Im going to borrow my friends dig. camera this week since my old 2 megapixel sucks.

    Here're the innards of a 1974-vintage Klipsch Cornwall, FWIW. The photo was taken to document the application of "rope caulk" to damp some of the resonances of the cast metal MR horn.

    2) Driver Shots - Side, Back, Front
    3) Crossover Shots (Front and Back If Needed)
    4) Internal Pictures
    5) Picture of the amp, front and back (if it has it)

    And any type of details you can provide about the design.

    pick of the front, sans grill, with the new drivers in (rt channel only)

    on the first pic I gave you (where you can see the back of the woofers, that long piece of felt on the right covers the back of the ribbon, so I cant get you a pic of the back of the ribbon
