Help with speaker choice!

I am upgrading my home theater system and need some advice. I currently have a 5.1 jvc receiver at 100w per channel that I will be upgrading down the road. I purchased a CS2 center speaker and now I need to buy my front speakers. I have narrowed it down to the Monitor 40's or 50's. Which ones will sound better? I will probably be using the 30's or 40's for my surround as soon as I have the money. One concern I have is my center speaker tweeter is 52" from the floor and it looks like the tweeter in the 50's will be around 29" from the floor. With that much of a difference in height will they blend well or should I go with the 40's and put them on stands. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
