Sub recommendations??

I have a large living room with tile flooring. It is an odd shape, but roughly 24'x17'. It is open to a hallway on one side and partially open to the kitchen and dining room on the other. I was looking at a 20-39PC+, but how would this sub hold up? I am looking to keep it under $1000 shipped. Also keep in mind that I will be moving in a couple years, so I hopefully will be in a more suitable HT room. Use is primarily HT. Open to other suggestions.

I just bought a Velodyne DLS 4000R with a 12" woofer and 200 watts RMS and it works just fine.
