I have a mm12 in a sealed box , not sure of the size, its hooked up to a coustic amp at 400w x 1 but it does not hit like I thought it would , I'm not sure if it is the amp setting or if the box is the wrong size, it may be a little big but it is cube subzone box. can this sub play in a ported box I know it is not recomended. any help thanks

The MM12 came with its own box.
If the Coustic is a Class D amp and runs 400x1 at 2 ohms then thats your problem. The MM12 is a single 4 ohm voice coil sub so the amp is putting out 200 watts at 4 ohms.polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005
