Air tight MM120's
Systems

Hey, I built the box for my 2 12's and it came out nice. Think it came out to like .876 cubic feet. The only thing I am wondering is when then system is off and you push on the subs. You can hear air flowing out the back. I used wood glue and caulking on the box. The only problem is the terminals. I bought them at Radio Shack (it was the only thing open on sunday). If I take my hand and throw it over the terminal, the sub is air tight and almost impossible to push on it. The subs sounded great, and I didn't even realize this untill today. So.. How important is it that it is air tight? will I hear a difference? I plan on taking some caulk and throwing it all over the back of the terminal to stop that, just wanted to know how important it is. Thanks

Should i not be able to move the cone very much by hand? I have a sealed enclosure for a single mm120, but i can move the cone fairly easily by hand, is this an indication that i have a leaking box, and i just haven't noticed?
