Dead RT38i

I finally drug my sick **** down to the Garage today to putter around and try to gain some strength, as this sickness has had a stranglehold on me for going on the third week now...

I set up my system on the work bench and fired her up, and ...DAMN IT..

No sound comming from the left speaker..

I just got these not too long ago , here on the forum, and noticed a crunched corner on this speak, but figured since they were going in the garage rig it was no biggie...wrong

Must have fried the speak somehow , when it was dropped..

Now I have a single good 38i...
I guess I could always use it for backup parts..

I replaced the 38`s with a pair of 35`s and puttered...

The garage rig now consists of;
Rotel RB980BX amp
Parasound P/HP 850 pre
Yammie DVD-S700 cdp
Marantz ST 300 tuna
Marantz PM 300 amp..needs a look see..one channel goes out sometimes, so I put the `ol Rotel and Para 850 in for a while until I can figure out how to fix it..

Got the old Marantz gear from my sister-in-law..she was gonna toss it..!!

and of course the RT35i`s..

When I open her up (38 & the Marantz) what should I be looking for..?

Oh, and does anybody know if the old Marantz is even worth messin with..?
It is a cool old Marantz...meters and everything..!!

Dang Bear run of bad luck. I'll second Doro's dancing idea, might try to fix the speak.

Of course you have the other rig, you know the one with the Cary!!! You set that up yet?
