...about an ebay auction where some people were bidding close to $2,000 for a pair of SRS...so I really thought he wanted to increase the price.....Michael helped me load the speakers in a hurry to get the hell out of there before Leroy changed his mind....

Then Michael gave me a quick demo of his system...
Sounds really GREAT; LSi7's with that huge CINEPRO...
Probably the only bad thing about today is that I realized that HIS SVS sounds BETTER THAN MINE.......

Don't tell me... the other piano blacks were SRS 1.2tl's right?

Ted, blanket hell... he's probably sleeping between them... passing on the body heat.

Nice journey, nice story, nice getaway... and loved the pics. Had a couple chuckles going through them... do you photograph all your trip meals?

Did a double take on the McLoki pic... He could be TroyD's brother... or at least cousin.

    Anyway nice nab... enjoy...
    More later,

Noel better have the pepto handy, after handing him that BAD Chinese.

Not a bad day, if I do say so myself. Bag some badass speakers, eat bacon AND Burger King in the same day, and poison a forum member. Rock on.

I wonder if Leroy would take a grand for the 1.2TLs, since he gave you such a great price. :D Other than a few bumps and bruises that can be fixed fairly easily by any competent wood worker or bodyman(thinking glass and lacquer) they were in pretty good shape and all the drivers looked perfect. :)

God I hate my picture being taken :o:( , I weigh enough, I don't need 10 pounds being added on.

Gonna hook up the Dared tonight and start the comparison. I think this will help a few that are on the fence about which to pick, the Dodd or Dared. Maybe even push someone over the edge that is interested into getting into tubes for the first time, who knows. It will be fun for me anyways. :)

Nah, job security in my career field is all but non-existant and I do have as much as one can have. Yes, I could most likely make quite a bit more at a bigger dealer, but then I would have to worry all the time as to whether or not I'll have a job the next month.

It's not that I'm unhappy, but disappointed with my salespeople. Most are just content with getting by and I need more aggressive people that want to make a better living than last year. They are flat out lazy, with bad attitude, under achievers for the most part. A couple of them are just morons. It's not up to me who gets fired around here, be cause if it were, the axe would
    have came down

Just doing an A/B with the Dodd ELP and HTR's Dared SL2000 for our huddled masses, so they can make a more informed decision between the two. There seems to be several in the market for an entry level tubed preamp and these are the two most popular choices around these parts of cyberspace. If you go and lurk over at the Klipsch forum, all those tube heads are into the Juicy Music Merlin or Peach or something like that, but Juicy's entry level is a little more dough.

From what I've read, the Juicy Music stuff is really nice, but it is more expensive. I wonder if any here have any experience with the Juicy Music pres/amps?

I really don't care for the look of the Juicy gear. Reminds me too much of the old '60s Sherwood, Scott, Pilot type tube gear from that era. Just not my style. I like retro, but not that kind.
