I want variety in my CD's, but am too lazy to burn mix CD's. So, I want a 10-25 disc changer that I can punch random on and go about my business. It needs to have a decent transport section and digital output. The cheaper the better. Any suggestions?

The only ones I know of with that kind of capacity are the Sony 300 cd mega-changers; they're built like frickin tanks but I think they only have Toslink for digital out...

The Onkyo CD-X390 is a 6 disc changer that looks good, as well as the Marantz CC-4300, both under $300..

I was messing with a display Sony CE595 (I think) up in your town last weekend, only like $195 bucks and it had very smooth operation, I was impressed (Best Buy on Broadway). It's also Toslink only but includes SACD playback.

Bubba---I got a new toy for you mess with, next time your down here I'll give it to you.

What about this slightly older Pioneer Elite?

Possibility...it looks a little rough. Are there any more Elite series?

the older the better imo. CDP's back in the late 80's / early 90's were built like tanks.

I found that that pioneer was from 1997, so it might be a little late for tank-like build.
