Any Polkies be interested in picking these up at my location for $250?
They need a little love but could really be some nice speakers.
Texas members I could meet in Wichita Falls or somewhere in that area.
I dont have much faith in Staples being able to pack these to survive a trip in the UPS system, thinking about adjusting the ebay listing to pick up only.
Ive got $50 in them, yeah I know thats a hefty little profit but I think the asking price is pretty decent.

Ahaaa
hahaha
this likely isn't going to end well, gwh. I know it's an "unwritten rule", but if you want to sell something here at an enormous profit, first off don't post it on eBay first, and secondly, don't tell how much you have in them!Ludicrous gibs! -
Unless they're in rough shape, his price, even with the profit, is at least $150-200 off the going price for these in average to good condition."SOME PEOPLE CALL ME MAURICE,

although he shoulda kept the purchase price quiet, atleast he's honest.. and does it really matter what he paid for them? if someone wants them and its a good price so be it.. However the e-bay thing i can understand, can't list em there and offer them here, the Gon is alittle different as being a want ad, unlike e-bay where people are watching them and can/will bid..MY HT RIG:

Okay, I guess I was going more on if he had purchased them for $50 from a fellow polkie. That not being the case, I'll keep my mouth shut, as I am not interested in the speakers.Ludicrous gibs!

I went looking for some info in the vintage speaker section and divulged the price I paid for them there, so that info was already out.
Yeah I took them to the bay first but thought Id offer them here much cheaper. I was too lazy to retype the description and add pics so thats why I linked to the auction.
Laziness opened my a@@ up for some flaming!

Noel, if you want them, I will be driving to OK in a few weeks. I could then meet you around St. Louis and hand them off. I wouldn't charge much for gas, since I would be doing the driving anyway.
Other polkies would get the same treatment as well if someone east of Memphis wants them. I just remember Noel seemed interested after g posted them last week.

Didn't anyone else see Justin's post in the Nbhat's Carver ad?? If we keep doing this, he's going to implement HIS own rules. If we don't have any pertinent info, we need to stay away. Pertinent info might be props for the seller or even the gear. I for one don't think we need a strict set of rules, but if we can't control ourselves, Justin might be forced to do so."SOME PEOPLE CALL ME MAURICE,

Sorry Zach, I was posting at the same time. I'll have to pass this time, as I'm in the market for a tube amp. Thanks alot for the offer though. Last week I might have taken you up on that."SOME PEOPLE CALL ME MAURICE,

OK then, I am interested, but only to blow them up at the next Polk Fest. I dont think Justin would have a problem with that!
Really Good Luck GW, I am sure he will deal if someone likes the Klipsh, besides we sell lots of brand stuff here. No one batted an eye when I bought the Carver Amazings off the Polk Board.

Noel, you should pick these up!! Jump on 'em!! You'd then have your Klipsch, and wouldn't be out much at all for your tube amp!
Then you could invite me to your place so I could hear some Klipsch heritage stuff.
Good luck on the sale, gwh. And like a few have said, if they're in good condition, this is a good price.George Grand wrote: »

Anyway these are great little Klipsch speakers, made to be paired with tube amps, and can be driven with very low powered amps.More later,
