XM Radio on DirecTV........

As many of you are aware, DirecTV now uses XM as their "Music Choice" channels. I have been using a Xm2Go in the house and had no issues with it until listening to the XM channels via DirecTV.

The first thing I noticed was that it definitely is a lot more dynamic with the DirecTV Vs. the Xm2Go. So that answers a question that I have been asking myself regarding different XM tuners. There is a difference. I don't have the Polk Tuner, but now can expect it to sound a lot better than a portable tuner. (yes I did have my doubts)

The second thing I noticed is that somehow the DirecTV feed is 10 seconds before the Xm2Go. So I go out to my car and check the XM in my car with the Xm2Go and they are sync'd. Anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening?

Does anyone have the Polk Tuner and DirecTV? Any time difference?

I can tell you from vast experience that the Polk XRt12 is the best out there. I had both the Sony and Delphi home kits and niether came close to the Polk.

    Thanks Steve

No doubt the Polk Tuner sounds better, how does it compare to the DirecTV feed? Anyone?

Don't know about the "feed", but you will be using the DAC in the DTV receiver, guessing it will be as good as the Polk receiver.
    Dodd - Battery Preamp
Monarchy Audio SE100 Delux - mono power amps
    Sony DVP-NS999ES - SACD player
    ADS 1230 - Polk SDA 2B
DIY Stereo Subwoofer towers w/(4) 12 drivers each
    Crown K1 - Subwoofer amp
    Outlaw ICBM - crossover
    Beringher BFD - sub eq

Where is the remote? Where is the $%#$% remote!

Can't comment on time delay, but XM's programming vs. Music Choice is taking a little getting used to...
