model number ignorant

Can anyone explain to me why I find on ebay the model number CSi25, but when I try to look them up on the polk site they are not listed, only CSi20 and CSi30. What is the significance of the model numbers. I understand the first letter C for center channel, but what are the rest of the letters. Im looking to add a center channel to go along with an old pair of monitor 5jrs that I have had for approx 15 years that still work fantastic but don't want to get some kind of unofficial look alike junk.

Thanks for replying. I found on the polk site a speaker match up listings for older products and it lists a csi5. What do you think? Sound like you know your audio very well.

Makes sence to me. So now I move the mon5s to the garage and begin my investigation into a new surround sound speaker packaged deal for the living room. Any sugestions. I've been more than happy with the polk brand for 15 plus years. Room is approx 15ft by 19ft, sitting area mid way with entertainment center at one end on the 15ft wall

Remember, this was only a test.
If this were a real Q&A session it would have occurred elsewhere in the forums and actual, truthfull answers to the questions would have been given.
