Consonance Droplet Cdp5.0 Cd Player - Any Opinions?

Hi all, this player really looks gorgeous & has superb reviews. It has me really thinking, I've just got give it a listen!! Anyone have any feedback on the Droplet?

    I've owned a couple Consonance products, albeit not the Droplet, and was pretty happy with the performance and quality. I really like the use of wood in their designs as it's unique and uncommon.

    The spec's are generic, nothing extraordinary, but it's certainly unique. I'm sure it sounds pretty good. Be different, always go against the grain, if possible...that's my disclaimer.

    Unless you try alot of different gear in your own rig, not just heard it one time at a store, you don't know shite.

    I would let the hype settle down and watch the market before dropping money into an unknown.
    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
