    The seller used some old pics of the Driftwood, probably from some other HT site. I recognized the sonotube and AC unit under the screen rightaway as his old setup. His current showcase here on CP has his revamped frontend. I just think sellers ought to be required to disclose when pictures aren't actual sale items.

    Dude... that is lame.

    I personally would ruin any seller than used ANY pictures from my site in ANY manner. ESPECIALLY IF HE DIDNT CREDIT ME! Anybody that bids on those need to be notified those arnt being sold (atleast the ones pictured)...

    damn, son! hope you know the dude! that IS grounds for an ****-whoopin'. what if one were selling, oh, say, a knit scarf and used a pic of your 'ole lady they drudged up on the net? one would be inclined to put a good hurtin' on that seller!!!! now i understand the term "royalties" and why music artists get so upset about napster and the likes.

    It looks like he found the "best" example of them he could and just used it. Credits to Ron would have been the least he could do.

    I would not have cared if he asked first, or like you said Dennis, put my name in there and clarified his bid stating that those are not his pictures. They are very old pics. I don't even have them up on my site anymore, not sure where he would have found them.

    Ron, If you are an Ebay Member, you can alert Ebay and they WILL remove the auction. This falls under Ebay's "legally compliant listings" rules. I've done it before when some scum bag stole my pictures during one of my live auctions.
