I've been SDA hunting lately and have found a set of SDA 2's, which are aparently pretty mint. What is the current going price on them? I checked polksda's website (www.polksda.com :p) and it shows 3 ebay auctions with the prices of $268, $200 and $153. Can I determine a fair asking price according to these? The guy wants $650 cdn (~550 USD) and lives a ways away so it'd mean a lot of driving but he is willing to meet half way. My first impression is that the asking price is too high since I've seen 2.3's going for about 600-800 usd...

whaddya think?

$550.00 is too high, that's almost what the 1C's go for. 2.3's are around $700.00 and 2.3TL's $900.00-$1000.00.

I'd say that's too high too.. even for mint SDA 2's. Everyone has a starting price. but you may not be able to haggle him down enough closer a reasonable price if he's asking $550 to begin with.
I know it's tough to do.. but if he won't lower his price by a few hundred at least.. pass on them. I know it's not easy to pass on SDA's. but others will come along. trust me. patience when looking for SDA's will pay off later.

i paid $175 for mine, which is on the bottom end of the market. You can pay more and still be getting a good deal... but $550 is too high.
