Got some crazy ideas on my setup Need Info!
I have a csi3(center) and an svs that i have upgraded to so far. I was about to go with the rti6's as mains, but then i had some ideas that i think might work even better. How would 3 csi3's in the front work? And i was even thinking about getting a csi5 as my center and using my existing csi3 and an additional one as my mains. Seems like a better buy for the same price. Let me know!

that is a crazy idea. not that it couldn't work.. but main/front speakers were designed to do that job... centers were designed to be used as a center. I tried using my CS400i once as a main speaker.. it didn't cut it. I never tried it again.PolkFest 2012, who's going>?

If they are going on wall, RTi4 or FXi3. If they're going to be behind your seating area, RTi4. If they're going to be to the sides, FXi3. If you're going with stand mounted speakers in the back corners of the room, I'd go for the RTi6's myself, or the RTi4 to keep the budget lower. -
yeah, what Emlyn said.. i think surrounds sound best when they are mounted on the wall. although not everyone has the room for that.. but wall mounted FXi3's or larger would sound very good.. because of their design..they fire sound both front and back.. whereas the RTi4 and 6's fire sound only forward.PolkFest 2012, who's going>?
