upgrade from monitor 5

i have a pair of monitor 5`s that i have owned since new and are thinking of looking for a pair of monitor 10`s to replace them. is there a model that is more desirable than others , and will i notice a significant sound difference. i am running yamaha m 40 amp and pre amp.by the way i love the sound of the 5`s any suggestions would be appreciated. i am a brand new member to this forum thanks. corey

    try and find a pair of monitor 10's with the much loved Peerless tweeters in them. you'll not they are peerless by a small hole in the center of the tweeter cone.

    be patient.. they come up on Ebay or Audiogon now and then. but the Peerless tweeters are the most desireable of the bunch.
