SVS PB-10 controls

Do my eyes deceive me, or is it true there is no xover control on this one?

Pulled the SRS 2's out of one of my listening rooms, out into the front living room tonight. Setting up the new 2ch video rig. I've got the VMPS, but not sure I want to hassle with setting up the big Crown amp, the Paradigm X-30, the extra set of cables, etc etc.

Just thinking outloud for a powered sub (simple setup - plug in, twist some knobs, go). It's not that the SRS don't dig deep, they do, I just want a little more low-end reinforcement for my cinematic experience, if you dig.

The 25-31 PCi is on the short list too, along with some offerings from other manufacturers.

Cheers,
Russ

Yeah, I just saw "With just the features you need" in the copy.

So whats the deal, brick walled at 100Hz or so? Therein lies my scenario - I ain't got no stinkin' AVR.

RuSsMaN, there is always the next level up for the SVS sub. Didn't you have a Hsu sub previously?

Yeah, STF something, it wasn't that memorable. 10 inch job, somewhat musical, but NO balls whatsoever.

$ are the issue, not saying I won't end up plunking down some decent beads and shells, I'm just not into HT as much as some others here. I don't plan to just 'get by', but my focus right now is on those Beemer 803's for the reference rig - so I kind of want to Ronco the HT rig, and move on to other things.

Russman, how about something like this
    http://cls.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/cls.pl?homesubw&1136834913
It's design by Dr. Hsu; I believe Dr Specs indicated that it's an STF 3 twin. 12" w/325 watts RMS w/crossover control. It's similar price to the SVS PB 10.

Forgot to mention that I have a Hsu VTF3, which is the next step up for the STF3. The Outlaw above should have much more balls then the Hsu STF2 you used to have.
