How's Yahoo! Doing For You?

So far, if you notice, everything needs to be paid for in Yahoo!. When they came out, I was able to use Outlook, and of course there were a lot of adds, bu come on, nothing beats free e-mail with unlimited blocked e-mail adressess! But, when you have Outlook, it doesn't really matter with all the filters you can add in. And when you use Outlook, it doesn't matter how much space you have, it only matters how much Hardisk space you have internally. It's been years, but I had to switch to on of the "Free!" accounts you get with internet service. Yeah, it's great and everything, but the spam filter is like getting a Horse to Bark like a dog. You have to forward all the spam mail to missed-spam@comcast.net for them to add the mail address to the server's blocked e-mails for your mailbox. That takes so long... And it's great that Yahoo! has spam filters and all that, but you can't match two filters working at the same time. Or should I say two effective spam/junk e-mail filters working at the same time? Ok nuff said. I just needed to get that out of my brain for releif. AAHH!!

Yeah, they did, and umm.., well, if you didn't already know, umm Google keeps a copy of every message that comes into your mailbox, and everything that goes out of your mailbox.

Larry Page's wife keeps sending me love e-mail. With Pics.
oops.
If you don't know who Larry Page is~ 'Google' it. (couldn't resist) -
It's not that bad, but the super geeks can get a copy fo people's e-mails using google's search enginge. I've done that before, and it takes, well maybe 5 hrs. so I stopped doing that.

I have nothing to hide...
2 gigs of space... a well organized mail provider...
Definitely worth it to me.- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -
I have mail forwarding through my old college, so I just use whatever mail system lets me have free POP access and forward all my email there. Then I use Thunderbird to view it all - who needs a web app?
I'm not a huge fan of Yahoo! though. People are way too dependent on them, adn their site is often way too slow.If you will it, dude, it is no dream. -

Bedroom: Panasonic 50" S2 Plasma and Panasonic BD65 blu-ray player, Onkyo TX-SR707, Emotiva XPA-3, Emotiva UPA-2, KEF IQ7's, IQc, IQ8Ds, and SVS PB10-ISD -
Yeah, but when you have to use Outlook for life, well, it gets to be annoying. I could use another mail client, but that doesn't always work since I have like ten spam filters I've added, and I pretty much have evrything set up for Yahoo! so that really sucks. I had to tell all 55 people that send me mail that I'm now at comcast.

it's all about the junk email address. i have been using yahoo for about 3 years now and have another hotmail address that i give out whenever i need to provide an e-mail for any online site. only people i know or very important dealings get my real address. it seems to keep the spam to a level that the yahoo filter can handle it.

Yeah, I do that too, but I get 100 e-mails from software companies all the time because I buy so many games!
