I sent a e-mail not long after the ad appeared and would grab them for sure. He hasn't answered back. The ad is probably bogus though. Seen a few of those lately.

Heck no. A man that buys $10 amps does not go out and double people's asking price. :)

I think if everyone in the area were interested, we'd have around ten people or so. I'm down for something like that. You had me at beer.

I'll host if you guys want. No wife to get in the way. I'll even supply the beer and pizza. Bring any audio gear you'd like. Maybe we can set a day and time we can all meet. Someone elses place or mine. No matter to me.

Steamer has some great gear too. I gotta tell ya, I almost asked you last night if you wanted a roommate. All my wife heard about last night was how cool all your audio goodies were. Those AL IIIs were very impressive during their short tenure.

We could do a little western polkie meet... possibly the first one that involved the few and crazy canadians?? :D

I'm like 45 minutes from the border so it wouldn't take too long to swing down there. Maybe Dave (phoneisbusy) would want to join in too? He's in Vancouver as well.

Thanks for the kind words Shelby. Like I said, it's still a work in progress. I really enjoyed your company. I'd love to hear the gear you guys have. I'll have a pair of Newform Research R645's and a tube preamp here later today to add to the mix. I'll have my choice of two preamps. I've been a real speaker **** the last couple of years and want to turn my interest to the tube gear. Bout time I think. Still looking to score some of those big **** vintage Polks though. If we can figure out a day we can all do it that would be great. I'm open any day any month. Weekend of course. Still have 7 years til retirement.

    Hi,
I would like to meet some fellow polk user/abusers and can bring a keg of home brewed wheat beer. I have every other weekend off and this weekend is it. I have a tube Voice of Music integrated that I would like a second opinion on. LMK Thanks, Jeff
