I don't want to dick up this, of all threads but look it up. The Corps goes back to 1775 so it would be 230.

Is it a day off for any of you?
It is in most provinces here, Ontario is not I'm at work. But the whole Gvment have it off.
I would have attended the service we have here in the city, it's quite large even the Prime Minister is there. -
God Bless to all the Vets and to my best buddy serving his time right now in the Navy Seals.
Also a happy B-Day to the USMC. -

Day off? I wish, then all my older friends would be online and I wouldn't be here!

It is a holiday for most of us in the NT. It should be a holiday everywhere.Michael

Yeah, well, in major electronic companies they keep everyone working. That sucks and it doesn't. If there wasn't work, my dad wouldn't have even let me look at the screen, let alone the keyboard or the mouse for browsing. So good and bad.

sorry-i did not realize they went back that far-that was info from a marine i work with. well happy 230TH!!! God bless everyone in the service, especially SEALS, my grandfather was a seal.
