I've got a lead on a Yammie B-3 amp with the matching pre on the cheap. Have any of you experience with this amp?? From the pics and specs I've seen online, it seems to be one of the better ss amps of that era (75-80). Is that an accurate statement?? It reminds me of the Onkyo Integra amps with the analog meters on the front.

IMO, Yamaha's 70's stuff was the top of their game, never heard of a Yammie power amp with analog power meters, though. Sounds cool. I owned alot of their 70's/80's preamps, never any of they're power amps. Peaking inside of my pre's and a Yammie CDP I had (CDX-910) they were VERY WELL built. Far better than your average stuff of the day.
