revew avalanch 18 super sub

first i will laydown my background in to bass lover i am.
i started out in 93 with my first sub ht it was a set of hifonics 12 they were ok they got the job done but had no sq. my next real sub for ht was my velo cht 120. this sub was nice had some ok to good sq and some decent loudness and could play decentley low it is a big step up from any sub by polk exept any of their dual woofer subs. now i bult strykeforce. dual av 15 in a 25 cf box tuned to 17 hz and powered by 1000 wats. wow this sub was a huge sep up the sub had a real flat responce and blended well. it was crisp clean had great responce and played real low. some draw backs were in the sub 20 hz range it dident have enough out put for me. but everything else was great.
now on to the curent sub.
4 avalanch 18 subs with xpl2 and 27mm Xmax. the setup is a ib and a qsc amp with 3400 wats.
the responce is a tight clean output. blends well thd is non audible even at extreme levels. bass is fast. and it seems like it has no lower limit to the levels of sub sonic bass it can produce. this is the last sub i will ever buld. i dont think there is a store bought sub than compete in sq and output in ht at the same time or just output. there might be a few that are a little mo musical but that is few and far between. to fix that problem i could add a seccond set of ib with 10 for music but i am not that critical music listner.

get a sub with xpl or equivlent motor
design the ultimate sub you can think of then dubble it. so you never have to upgrade agin.
