Help with bass management for rti100

Hi all,
I'd appreciate your expertise on setting up this system.
-Receiver yamaha rx-v3200, 120w/per channel, cut off freq at 90hz
-Speakers: rti100 (f), csi40 (c), fxi30 (r)
-Sub: vtf-3mk2, 350w rms with freq response down to 20hz, low pass filter up to 90hz
1) Option 1
Set main speaker to be small, with sub to be on
2) Option 2
Set main speaker to be large, with sub to be on
What option would give the rti100 better performance?
