My system fronts LSi15's, center LSiC, rear full size cerwin vegas, and I have an SVS PC-Ultra on the way via UPS tomorrow. I have a Denon 3806 receiver that does allow you to set speakers to large or small individually and you can set different cross over points for each speaker. What settings should I use in my receiver including large or small for each speaker and then what crossover settings for the one's that are selected as small? Ofcourse if I select a speaker as large then I can not select a cross over point.

I suggest small for all speakers and 40hz for the lsi15's~ and whatever you feel sounds best with the rest of the speakers.

I notice that the specs on the LSi15 include a "lower -3db limit of 30hz". What is the lower -3db limit and should the crossover generally be set about 10hz above this? Hence for my LSiC the limit is 52, so I should set the crossover at around 60?

Sounds like a good plan to me.
