Im after some new speakers for my car, and I have been thinking of MB Quart premiums, and DLS URS6. A friend has also suggested to me to get some Polks. Some feedback on peoples opinions on any of these speakers would be very much appreciated, and also which model Polk would compare in price and performance to the other speakers listed. Thanks in advance

I havent heard anything but praise for the DLS's.. I think exalted512 has them... as for what compares... that would be the sr6500's Probably a lot cheaper than the other two, and twice as badass :D

I apologize, the DLS URS6 is less expensive... I just looked it up. But if you get what you pay for, the Polks win :p

i've not heard the DLS, but i have heard a direct comparision of the MB Quarts and the Polk SR6500s... there is absolutely no comparision, the SRs blow the premiums away in every possible way... exalted512 owns some dls's - i'm not sure which model - so maybe he'll pop in and shed some light on that comparision...

Cant really go wrong with any of those speakers so its more a question of which sounds the most like you want.

I prefer the SR's over anything else out there because I like the natural and smooth sound of them. The Quarts are also natural but not as smooth. I dont have much experience with DLS so I cant speak too much about them.

I'd like to reiterate what Mac said. After a certain point, it's just about preferrences. At this point, though, I'm not sure we're quite there. I'd still feel pretty confident saying the SR6500 would beat the other two choices, though I'd hafta admit they're fine speakers, too.
