Since rebuilding my Eico HF-87 to run with my SDA-1C's, I've decided to start thinning out some equipment to keep the better half happy

1st up is my Soundcraftsmen PM840 amplifier. This was originally one of a pair that Steveinaz used to run. Cosmetics are as near to new as you can get, and the performance is even better. Factory rated at 205wpc into 8ohms, and 300 into 4 ohms, plus that smooth mosfet sound, great match for your sda's! Also included is the original test report, warranty, and owners manual. I'll let this go for $225 shipped anwhere in the continental us. This may seem a bit high, and yes, I do see them now and then on that "auction site" for $100-$175, but all of these have been in very rough to only average shape, so the price is firm.

Btw, I'll be away from the pc from the 9th of Nov through the 12th, so just shoot me a pm and I'll get back to you! Thanks for looking.

The Soundcraftsmen amps have a "warm" sound to them. The are a patented class "H" design. They're tough as nails and can drive just about any load, and are non-current limited designs. They're also practically indestructable. Some complain about the fan, but the 2 I had (both PM-840's) had whisper quite operation---I never heard the fans. I ran mine bridged (requires a Soundcraftsmen AB-1 bridging adapter) for 600 watts/rms to run a pair of Bose 901 Series VI I had at the time. I ran my 2 for 14 years with absolutely zero problems....how's that for reliability?
