I woke up today with some kind of flu thing..nose throat...fever...the works

Talk about Karma..
I took a few sick days off last week, and now I`m hammered with a way worse flu/cold than I had last week.. :(

I went in for a few hours , handled some business, then got so hot and pounded that I just came home to go to bed...

Problem with that is ....I have too much gear to play with and can`t stay in bed..!! ;)

    Hey Bear,

Sorry to hear you're under the weather. You may want to do yourself a favor and get to the doctor and ask for some anti-biotics. One of the guys I work with got something like that and it turned into a cough and lasted for weeks. Took about a week for him to get rid of it after getting the meds. The little misses had the same thing, and again went away relatively quickly with the meds, but lingered on without them.

Or you could just stick with Irish Coffee.... ;)

Again, thanks for the well wishes..

Ya, my wife is pushing for the Doc...
I started to get it last week, but it really hit me yasterday at work.

If I still feel like this tomorrow, or it get`s worse, I will go get Intibiotics..
My Doc is a smuck, and I don`t feel like giving him $25 to tell me I`m sick..!!

I`ll try the Irish Coffee to start, then move on to my wall of Tequila bottles that I brought back from Mexico..!!

If you have flu like symptoms, don't bother going to your doctor all he's going to do is prescribe lots of fluids and rest.
Antibiotics are for bacterial infections not viral infections.
Just drink lots of fluids (apple juice,oj if tolerated)lots of vitamin c no dairy products.
Take ibuprofen(motrin, advil or naproxen(aleve)tylenol is useless.
NO COLD MEDS.They're proven to extend the misery.
The body uses sneezing, coughing, runny nose to flush the invading bug out of the body. Don't fight your body help it.
    Hope you feel better soon.
