So just do it like the finding nemo one? Are we running only subs when doing this? I may have a small room but I think my diy atlas 15 will get slaughtered by most here :p . I wonder what bohemith, heart stopping sub russ will whip out for this...

I'd concede that Gonzo will win this easily over anyone else here. 4 18" with 2.5" of throw in an IB setup? Dayum!

Nine-tenths of the rights he bellows for are really privileges and he does nothing to deserve them. We not only acquired a vast population of morons, we have inculcated all morons, old or young, with the doctrine that the decent and industrious people of the country are bound to support them for all time.-Menkin

Okay... just finished. Managed to get about 113 - 114 dB with a ratshack analog spl meter c-weighted on fast. Sub is a diy atlas 15 in a 6.5 cubic foot downfiring, ported enclosure with a 350 watt css amp. This is sitting about 6 - 8 feet away with only the sub running in a 2.1 setup.

Anyone know what frequencies the drop covers?

I don't listen at 120db, can't help you there guys. The VMPS does everything I need it to in the video rig.

Put me in the quality over quantity camp. ;)

    Cheers,

for subs the quality and quanity are one in a same. the more drivers you can have the more quality you can have. sence each sub has to do less work you get better qulaity

my main consern is the china cabinet upstairs. the floor shakes like a car with a system. if you can go ib i would jump on it and if you can get a xbl sub or a similar sub . i would do it. the olny thing about the sub is it sounds like it has less uper bass but that is your ear not hearing the resident harmonic distorshon. the sub is even flatter in responce and has a far superor sound.
