Toronto area pricing of a speaker package

I am looking to buy a package. RFi12, CSi5, FXi5, and PSW505. My lowest price so far is 2900 including tax and speaker wires.

How low can I go?

    Welcome to the forum! :cool:

    Where are you in Toronto. I'm not sure about the retail on those but check out Tabangi Electronics on Dundas St. East. Make sure you speak to Moe, tell him you're ready to buy. If you pay cash, he'll give you a better deal.

    Thanks Maurice. Anywhere within GTA that I can get a good price. I can travel, no problem there.

    I should be able to get them for 2800 tax in, no problem. I just want to see how much room there is. My target is 2500, but I'm not sure if that is realistic.

    In any case, if someone wants to pm me, I would appreciate it.

    If you can, go there, tell them what you're looking for and ask for a price. Tell them what you're being offered by another shop and I'm sure they can work something out. You might want to give them a call to make sure they're still carrying Polk first. I haven't been there in a long time.

    Thanks Organ. I stopped by their shop today. They don't carry polks anymore. I still want the same configuration less the sub. I'm looking into axiom, hsu, and svs subs.

    Welcome to the club Arthur. Brampton, Ontario my home town. Polk Audio headquarters for Canada is in Brampton. You could always give them a call and ask for a distribution list.

    Micheal, thanks I printed the distributor list from their website. I was more looking to see if anyone had gotten any good deals anywthere. As you know, all stores are not created equal. :)

    Well, I decided to take out the psw550 sub out of the equation and go instead with Hsu Research VTF-3 MK 2, if I can find a good deal. I've heard Hsu and SKS are supposed to be really good. Hsu I can get in Canada, where as Sks strickly in/through US.

    Man, that's too bad. They had excellent prices on Polk speakers.

    If you want to demo Paradigm, Tannoy and Klipsch you can go to Trutone Elctronics at 980 Dundas St East. Just 2 minutes away from Tabangi. I worked there in the summer and they have excellent gear. Great people too.
