SVS speaker efficiency (pus woofer)

I finally got my amp repaired so it is running all six channels. (5.1) :):):)

I have LSi7's for front and rear speakers, LSiC for a center channel and an SVS 25-31 CS+ subwoofer all running off my amp.

With everything calibrated to reference level with an SPL meter, the settings in my pre-amp/AVR are all speakers set to -1 except the left rear (due to placement set to 0) and my Sub. (also set to 0)

I was just wondering what the efficiency of the CS+ woofer is. Since the LSi series is about 88db efficient I was wondering if the sub is about that. (since I am running it at a similar power level)

It doesn't really matter since I set it with an SPL meter and then adjusted to taste - Just more curious than anything.

SVS has stated that the B4+ is around 102-104 dB. For woofers, it is very dependant on the frequancy of the signal, but for comparison purposes, I would say the CS+ is probably in the low to mid 90's around the 60-80 Hz range.

We not only acquired a vast population of morons, we have inculcated all morons, old or young, with the doctrine that the decent and industrious people of the country are bound to support them for all time.-Menkin
