My home has "appreciated" over 150% in seven years. Because of my desire to retire early (which I did), I financed for 15 years. On paper, I have an equity of nearly 1/2 MILLION dollars. It's nuts and I don't know how younger people, with decent incomes, can hope to get into a home in this area. For my part, the bubble just tells me I can't afford to sell my home and buy again in this area. -
