I currently have these speakers set up on speaker stands and am very happy with the sound.

I am moving into a new home and have the option to have the speakers pre-wired into the walls to get a nice "clean" look.

If I mount these speakers on ceiling mounts will I be sacrificing quality? I read somewhere that speakers need to be at "ear" level.

Should I stick with speaker stands or should I go with Ceiling mounts in the corners of the room?

Thanks,

Well the sound stage will be quite high. It ultimately depends on your personal preference and how picky you are. If you want to realistically reproduce the images then the speaker stands are the way to go. On the other hand, if you want to compromise a bit, get the speakers out of the way, for the clean look, then by all means use the ceiling mounts.

Best advice would be to try out the ceiling mounts temporarily using a ladder etc and see (hear) how you like it.
