Ok so I finally got off my lazy butt and drilled a 2" hole through the back of my "equipment rack" and plugged in my PS Power Punch cord that came with my Jolida cd. Man it's night and day differance. The Jolida was a big step up from my previous player, but still I thought there was something not up to speed, who would have thought it would be as simple as plugging in a better power cord?

I've been thinking about getting this aftermarket power cord for some of my gear. Is it flexible?

You think the Power Punch is good on the Jolida, try the Statement!
Danny, the Power Punch isn't too bad, the Statement.....not really.Political Correctness'.........defined

Are you tryin' to get me to spend more money?! -
Buying used PS Audio power cords is a great idea. Some people buy the cords only to find out they aren't as flexible as they'd like, then dump them for something else. These are not flexible power cords, so space behind a rack is a necessity, or buying a cord somewhat longer than needed. Not surprising since the Statement is 6 AWG, the Plus is 8 AWG, and the Prelude is 10 AWG. A 5 ft Prelude cord is usually available somewhere for $85-$90. I use all three types, with the Statement going from the wall jack to PS Audio power filters, Plus for amps and preamps, Prelude for everything else.

Same here. As you've said, the used cords are a bargain. If you're on the fence about wire making a difference, it's certainly a relatively cheap experiment.
