Blown FX1000???
I think one of my FX 1000 is blown, the mids are okay but the tweeters buzz. Whats a good way to known for sure? Also how much will they cost if available? thanks

If it is just one of the speakers that sounds not so hot, then first try swapping the tweeters, one at a time from your 'bad' speaker to your 'good' speaker. If the buzzing follows the tweeters, then it is most likely the tweeters. However if the buzzing stays within the cabinet, then it is likely not the tweeters.
The FX1000 tweeters were the SL6505's, which are now superceded by the SL6511. They are $88 each + tax and shipping depending on location.-Eric

Thanks Eric, I found the problem.
