I'm getting a sacd/dvd audio player this week. What are some of the
best multi channel sacd's and dvd audios. I have Dark side of the moon,
money for nothing, the 5 Elton John ones. What are some others that
have a great 5:1 mix that utilizes the rear speakers aggressively.
Thanks, Mike

Brand New Day by Sting is only DTS 5.1, but is still one of my favorite multi-channel CDs

The Blue Man Group Audio (DVD-A with DTS as well) is unbelievable. No way would I pay to watch guys with blue paint on their face bang PVC pipe, but the music is incredible. It not only shows off your system, but works great as the background music in your theatre room while you wait for everyone to get seated before the theatrical presentation.

I love Steely Dan and have the dvd-audios of Nightfly, Everything must go and Two against Nature. All are fantastic. Whatever happened to the SACD's
that were supposed to come out of the classic 70's Steely dan lp's? They were supposed to be released in 2004 I believe but keep getting pushed out. Anyone heard any rumors of when they'll be released?

I haven't heard, but I'm still looking. Would love to hear Aja and the Royal Scam.

Diana Krall's When I look into your eyes and The Look of Love are also very good if you like the smooth, jazz sound.

I have Steely Dan 'Rumors' on DVD audio and it sounds fantastic. Also have Phil Collins 'Finally The First Farwell Tour' and it's great too. Saw that concert (one of them) in Buffalo 14 rows back in the center aisle with a great view of the stage. Crank up the DVD a little and I think I'm back there.
