I am looking at purchasing two amps to bi-amp my 1.2's. I am currently running a Sony TA 77es amp. It is very old and clips on a daily basis. My first question is what model of adcom amp is better, the GFA 555 or the 5500. I can pick up two 5500 for about 900.00 each.
Second question is can I still run a second pair of speakers when you bi-amp? My system with the sony amp/pre-amp allows a, b a/b switching.
Thanks to all who reply

I am not familiar with your amp choices, I never used those since I use zapco.
as your second question, one of the audio gurus around here would have to answer that. I would almost think that would not be bi-amping at that point but rather more bridging the amp when you add more like that.
