I'm helping a friend put together a home theater and he has a NIB DVR/DVD recorder that he would like to sell/trade to help pay for the system. He doesn't think he will use it, and I don't have a need for it, so I am offering it up to everyone here first. I don't currently have a picture of it, but can obtain it if needed. I've looked at current ebay prices and retail prices from places like jandr, but the value here could be different, so be kind.
$225 shipped
Here is the link for info: Humax DRT800
Open to trades for a good receiver, speakers, or a decent integrated amp. He will probably be using Polk RTi's or LSi's(with a separtate amp), so it will have to have pre-outs. I'm thinking along the lines of the HK235 or Denon 2105. I know a little more money may be involved on his part, but he expects that. He is just trying to offset the cost of everything and still get good equipment.
He has a NIB iPod as well, but he doesn't know what model it is for sure. I do know it is right around 2 years old, but that is the extent of my knowledge of it.
PM me if you have any interest or questions about pricing.

The price seems quite reasonable. Tivo functionality is great. I'd be very interested but Tivo service isn't available in Canada.
Good luck
