A Final Thank You

We have started to do some of the things we had considered "normal things to do" prior to my dear daughters passing. It feels odd to be on this forum without recognizing the amount of support I received from Polk Forum members. So I will acknowledge that support here and now.
To everyone who took the time to post on a thread, send an e-mail, or post a Private Message, thank you so much. I have to recognize certain members for going above and beyond. To Frank Z. and Cliff (Faster100), thanks for the cards. They meant so much, and still do. Noah Adams (Nadams) couldn't find a card to express his feelings, so he wrote a touching letter. Thank you Noah. You are wise and compassionate far beyond your years. Mike (Hotwheelman), I don't even know your last name, or your address to send a thank you card. The balloons and teddy bear were very much appreciated. Theresa was very touched by your generousity, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Tiff LOVED balloons. Doro and Russ, what can I say? I hope you guys are reading this. The floral arrangement you sent was the first to arrive at our home. That meant a lot. Thanks brothers. Troy and Wendi might as well have been aunt and uncle to Tiffany, and you know we appreciate your generousity to the utmost. Thanks for the bear and ballons.
If we have a Frank V. on this forum, you are a stranger to me still, but if you're reading this, thank you very much for the flowers, they were beautiful.
Things will never be back to normal around our house. We have to find a new normal. Tiffany was a huge, huge, part of all our lives, which literally revolved around her and her needs. She was not a drain on us, she gave us much more than we ever gave her, or ever could give her. She taught me in particular, just how kind and cruel this world can be. She taught me in particular, just how unselfishly one human being can love another, without ever saying a word. She was by a longshot, the best friend I ever had or could expect to have, and I miss her terribly.
Please do not feel compelled to respond to this message, you have all done and said so much already. Please let this be the last word, or even moreso, let THIS be the last word........
PLEASE look favorably and kindly on those with handicaps. They so much need our love and compassion. Yes, it is nice to write a check to a charitable organization or institution. But they so much need our hugs and caresses as well as the financial support. If you feel you're capable of this, do it. You may find the rewards to be life changing, and the best thing you ever endeavored to accomplish. It was that and more for me.

Tiffany just whispered in my ear that the flowers from Frank V., were really from Frank Z. and his family. Thank you so much Frank. You're a damn good soul and I have no doubt the rest of your family follows suit.
Always your friend,
George
