Name that tune!

I saw something like this on another forum, and I thought it'd be cool to do here. Someone (I'll be first) will post some of the lyrics from a song, and y'all'll try to guess what song it's from. Try to post about 10 words or so - just enough so someone who knows the song can guess it. BUT you can't google the lyrics. If you think you know the song, you can google for the lyrics of that song and see if you were right. However, if you google with the lyrics and find the song that way ('reverse' look-up), you're disqualified from answering that particular challenge. If you guessed correctly, you can post the next challenge. As we have so many people with so many different listening habits, I'll not limit the genres, except let's not do rap or country. Everything else should be pretty fair game.

Everybody got it? Let's see how this goes.

The lyrics are:

"Finally got a ride
With a preacher man who asked
"Where're you bound on such a cold dark afternoon?""

Name that tune!

    Ok...big hint here...more lyrics...

    "Finally got a ride
With a preacher man who asked
"Where're you bound on such a cold dark afternoon?"
As we drove on through the rain
    And he listened, I explained
And he left me with a prayer
    That I'd find you"

...and as I come back to see if anyone's gotten it yet...I remember the album I got it off of 'Elvis - Great Country Songs'. Well, got that off to a great start, lol! I said no country, and the first one I put up is country! LOL My bad.

It's your turn to put up some lyrics, Mr. Z!

Graceland - Paul Simon and/or Willie Nelson. Sean nailed it above, I thought Simon own it first. could be wrong, though..
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

cool, Noel - speaking of Michael Franks, I've been waiting for his next album for awhile. He seems to dissapear completely this decade. I own every single album ever since he was with crossfire. What happened to him?

Haven't heard anything from him in years, to be honest. There was just something from the lyrics you posted that triggered a memory.

Ok. Maybe one last try to resurrect this. I thought this'd be pretty neat as I figured we had a lot of music lovers...

    Here're the lyrics:
All alone at the end of the of the evening
And the bright lights have faded to blue
I was thinking 'bout a woman who might have
Loved me and I never knew
You know I've always been a dreamer
    (spent my life running 'round)
And it's so hard to change
    (Can't seem to settle down)
But the dreams I've seen lately
Keep on turning out and burning out
    And turning out the same

    Name that tune!
