Frequency settings?????

I have a Sony STR DB930 receiver and just bought a set of RTi8, FXi3 & CSi3. I want to get the best sound possible, but am not very good with frequency settings, I am not exactly sure how to decide where to set them.
On my receiver you can adjust the low, mids & high passes for each channel,
Here are the settings,
low pass: 100Hz - 1kHz
mid pass: 500Hz - 5kHz
high pass:1khz - 10kHz
Any suggestions would be great.

I think you are mistaken about the crossovers. They should be between 40 hz and 150 hz. Check the manual again.
You are probably looking at some sort of EQ settings. I would set those all to normal or turn off if possible. -
I do have a Sub, and it is turned on in the setup.
As for the frequency settings I will have to check my manual and get back to you. What do you mean by normal? Is that mid way on the scale? -
If it is an equilizer setting, I would try to turn it off or set it in the middle. IMO they just screw up the sound. Let me know what the manual says about crossover settings.

The sony eq is a joke. I had that same eq on my old ES model. Just turn it off and leave it off. And keep the bass boost off as well.
