Bought a pair of 8T 11027 which I believe is RTA 8? Got some info from another thread. Wanted to know how much these sold for new? I got these at a garage sale for $10 a piece they are in excellent condition and saw little usage. They are replacing a similar aged pair of In*?%*ti these are much more impressive especially for not having a midrange!

The speaker uses a single 1" dome tweeter and two 6.5" drivers. The frequency response is from 30 Hz to 25 kHz with the -3dB limits of 42 Hz to 23 kHz power handling is 250 watts/channel the impedance is compatible with 8 ohm outputs and the efficiency is 89 dB. They were produced from 1987 until 1990.

What do you mean by not having a midrange? Looks like you've got two per speaker, there... Could you post some pics of your speakers?

Also, it looks like they could have the SL2000 tweeter, which is recommended that you replace with the RD0194-1
    Ludicrous gibs!

Hi Dave, welcome to the club. Here is the link to give you all the info you need on your speakers. You have 2 midrange drivers. http://www.polksda.com/rta8t.shtml

I have the same pair. I still have the original tweeter & it sounds just fine to me. When I added a separate amp to drive them, they really showed me what they can do.

    Enjoy them.
