1. Is a loaded sub enclosure a large amount worse than buying sub and box separately and installing the subs in the box later?

2. what is the best amp to go with an audiobahn ABP122N tuned bandpass loaded box?

    It depends. Some will slap a sub inside a flimsy plastic box and that usually not good. Others (like the DB212-2 ) are very well built with solid construction and designed specifically for the subs.

    As for amps, it depends on how much power you need and how much you want to spend.

    on the amp no more than $300 probably, but i would be using ebay so the list price could be more than $300. and the subs together have an RMS of 800watts so, something to get them bumpin.

    A word of warning on buying off of Ebay. You take your chances on what youre getting and youll have no factory warranty.

    Its going to be hard to find an 800 watt amp in the sub $300 but you should seriously check out Sounddomain. Right now they are practically giving away Orion amps. This 600 watt Class D amp is a $600 piece going for $265!!! Orion is pretty underrated so youll be getting around 650+ total RMS. At this price you CANNOT beat this amp! You should really consider this one.

    Well then that Orion will be perfect. If I were in the market for an amp, hell if I had the extra cash right now I would dump my Crossfires for some new Orions in a heartbeat! Ive wanted Orion amps since 1992!
