    Very interesting. I didn't recognize any of the posters' names, so I'm guessing it wasn't someone from here. We need someone who really knows what they are talking about to give at least a little info, although it does seem to be well described. If nothing else, they should be pointed to the www.polksda.com for the Stereophile article.

    Agreed. Even though almost everyone involved in that thread said, in a round about way, they would give there left nut to own a set of the big boys, he still dismissed SDA as BS. MORON

    I'd have to say that he's never heard a set that was properly set up.

    Well later in the thread he is at least making an effort to try to find someone who has an SDA system that he can listen to.

    And, damnit I was about to send HeadRoom $300 for a MicroDAC... aww this wont stop me... :p

    Glad you were able to put it in there for them and us. It is a good read. I printed it off and have read it at least a dozen times.

    I had parent/teacher conference this evening, with just a few parents showing up, so I had time to kill and read the entire thread at head-fi.


    BTW, Dennis, I'll be home for Christmas, so we can hook up and I can listen to yours.

    I wonder why that ad says the manufacturer is Beauhorn Loudspeakers?????

    And someone in the NJ area better jump on those if they're still available, for only $1000, it's a no-brainer.

    My wife has never understood my audio sickness,even owning a set of mmg's,I mean she thought all speakers came in boxes,so she was somewhat surprised when I first hooked them up,but she also said that my rti8's were just as good...she has never heard the bigger maggies...so,anywho,I bring the sda2's home,took a week to get them right...and now I come home from time to time to catch here sitting in the unknown to her "sweetspot"listening to them...yea,she gets it!

    Received email from seller. My Goodness they are in Indonesia. Wouldn't touch them with a 10 ft pole. The 1.2's in NJ

    Sooo...somebody in Indonesia decided to use a known pic of some 1.2s to run a scam. Now the price makes more sense. I thought that $1k for 1.2s seemed to good to be true. I've read numerous warnings about sellers from eastern and southeastern Asia running scams all over the net. That's probably why they're using NJ as the local.

    On a side note...in another thread there was a link to some feedback for a seller that 90% of them had ???????...??????? as the feedback. I'm most certain that that has to do with the original posts being in an oriental language(Chinese, Korean). I'll see if I can locate that thread where it came up.

    This is it...yeah, you might be right on the oriental language thing...I would anyway stay away from it.....though...did you see the price that thing went on????
