Scroll down on the page where you write a new post(not a quick post). There is a black bar that says "Aditional Options". Underneath that, there are three sections: Miscellaneous Options,Attach Files, and Thread Subscription.

Click on Attach Files, Browse for the files you need, which should end in one of the following: bmp doc gif jpe jpeg jpg pdf png psd txt zip, then click upload. If that doesn't work, let us know.

I finally figured out the pictures need to saved on your computer to begin with.......mine are saved in a folder (documents) and it's the only way I know how. Find a picture you like then save it by right clicking on it then save to where ever.

You can also post images if theyre hosted by an internet page.

Right click the image you want and hit "copy link location". Then on the reply toolbar click the "insert image" icon and paste that address there.

btw it doesn't necessarly have to be saved to your computer. If you want it to appear as a little thumbnail you can click to make big yes it does, but you can do it with the [ img ] [ /img ] tags to link the picture directly off the internet. Not a big fan of Vb code but meh.

    eg..

    logo.gif

was done by typing in without the spaces between the brackets and the text: [ img ]http://www.google.ca/intl/en_ca/images/logo.gif[ /img ]

Hmm looks like I was beat to it ;)

What browser do you use mac? I don't have this copy link location delie... I've always got the addresses from either properties or if you can't right click it due to copyright thingies you have to go through the source code of the page.

    are those w7's?

Yup, 12W7's. The greatest of all subwoofers! bowdown.gif

Im using Firefox. I just tried it with IE and youre right, you cant get it off the right click.

Just another reason Firefox rules!! Funny how Microsoft can develop software that can rule the world but they cant make a good browser!

Alrighty time for some derail action here...

I've thought about using firefox but never really bothered to switch from IE. The mac's at school use firefox or the o so terrible safari and it's pretty similar. (the firefox**) What's so spiffy about firefox? I've heard some random things about it like how it's safer and more stable than IE.

Maybe I should just give it a shot... it is free so what do I have to loose.

    Yeah, cant hurt to try.

Im not very internet savy so I cant list all the tons of reasons why its better but the first thing I noticed was ZERO popups! Ive been using it now for over a year and have had maybe 4 popups in that time.

Plus little things like that right click thingy make it nicer as well.

Like you said, its free so if you dont dig it you can always switch back, but I betcha stay with Firefox.

Been fiddling with it for a little while now. Pretty decent browser. Makes everything look oddly similar but different. Had to reprogram my mouse to work with it but that took all of 15 seconds. Looks like it's a keeper...

Been using it for about a year or so and I like the "tab" feature for web-sites. You can open several windows and rather than minimizing them you can create tabs at the top and toggle back and forth between them. IE is carching up with some of the features. Do a search for firefox as we started a thread over the summer about it. I'm used to it now and love it. Zero pop-ups and a host of other options I can't think of because I haven't had my coffee yet this morning. It's free, I say give it a try and see.

I personally like Opera, too. However, I only used it for about a month or so and that was a while back. But I really liked using it.

Yep I like firefox now. It's pretty much the same for me except for that cool tab feature and some other fancy right click options. One thing I found funny with it was that the very first web page I went to (well second... google was first*) I had a pop up :p Havn't had one since though...
