Nope. Sorry. That distinction belongs to Bose. If you don't believe me, just ask them. They'll tell you the same thing.

You know,I bought a pair of RTi12's thinking I could have them pull double duty in our HT set-up and a 2 channel rig also.

The 12's are very good mains for the HT,but,I just could not get past the "lack" of mids and the brightness of the tweeters during 2 channel listening.

Now,I know I don't have the best gear behind them, but I realized no matter what I came up with to drive the 12's for 2 channel playback,I just was'nt going to be happy with the results.

I decided a dedicated 2 channel rig was in order,I was set on a pair of LSi9's or LSi15's until a pair of SDA's came up for sale...

The SDA's cost less than the 9's would have, even used...I have never been soo excited about playing music...The near 20 year old Polks still have a sound that I think puts all other Polks in their place...

I agree. Now with that said, I'm having a very pleasurable listening experience with my Monitor 7As being driven by my ASL Wave 20s and the Dodd ELP. Is it as good as the SDAs, not quite, just different. They are surprisingly rich sounding and the soundstage and imaging is far superior to my Monitor 10As or RTA 8TLs. Of my five pairs of Polks that I currently own, I'd have to rate mine like this for my favorite:
    1. SDA SRS 2s
    2. Monitor 7As
    2 tie. SDA 2Bs
    4. RTA 8TLS
    5. Monitor 10As

Now the last two are virtually tied also, with the lower bass and tweeter going to the 10s and the mids and midbass going to the RTAs.
