I doubt those are polks since the only part that even come close to resembling anything polk uses are the binding posts on the back. It even says they're "Dynamic Audio" speakers...

that seller should be bitched slapped TWICE for saying they're 'polk' AND that they're 'digital-ready'.
-
Overload Protection Circuit...*They can not blow*
I'm convinced they do "blow" regardless of the protection circuit. -
Damn I'm bad at picking up the sarcasm on this forum sometimes
-
Give me 4 Adcom 565 monoblocks in a bi-amped situation and I won't make them blow. I'll make them explode.

Them being digital ready was the selling point for me.
I also like the stealth factor Polk took on these speakers, they didnt put their logo anywhere on them!polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005

thats a generic white van speaker from the early 90's. they had a bunch of different names stamped on them. My dad got a pair of these from a white van before he knew about the white van scam. he only paid 120.00 bucks, so it wasnt THAT bad. He needed a 2nd set of speaks for another room, backround only, so he didnt care.
I had another friend that paid 450 for them, that poor gut got screwed without any foreplay. and I had to break the news to him after he was telling me about this "great deal I got!"
they SUCK. no matter how loud you play them, you can still here them SUCKING in the backround :P
for saying there Polk?, someone needs to go to this sellers house and simply take a crap on the hood of his/her car. it sounds crude, but very effectiveLiving Room 2 Channel -

LOL!!!! I saw those! I didn't think they were Polks, but I didn't know for sure. I was deffinately skeptical. The ghetto home stereo:
Sony ES 200 disk changer
Polk Audio RT 55's (passive crossovers removed)
One JL Audio 12-W6
Carvin 3-way electronic crossover (24 db per octave slopes)
Behringer digital 31-band EQ
Sony 5 channel DVD reciever (fronts power mids, rears power tweets)
Pioneer 2 channel receiver (both channels power the DVC JL sub) -

Well, I thought I would e-mail here as well and ask the ultimate question. Are you sure.....
Her response, "Pretty sure. The guy I got them from said they are. They sound great...I've had them hooked up to my computer. Thanks, Michelle!"
Oh Boy!Michael
In the beginning, all knowledge was new!

I almost feel bad for the honest people that don't know about audio stuff and get suckered into buying stuff like this...
-
Screw the speakers. I wonder if Michelle is cute. Maybe we should put her on a swap program and let her listen to some real Polks.
