That McIntosh gear has a huge resell price. Crazy to know the old stuff sold new for a few hundred bucks and now it's worth thousands....
The gear in the attic is complete over kill.....if there is such a word in audio.
Yeah sorry Dad...I was just showing the boys your stereo! I'll pay for all the shattered glass in the nearby houses......lol....lol.Denon #2900, Denon stereo receiver, Conrad Johnson Sonographe 120 amp, Blue Jeans cables, and Klipsch RF-7's -
The one in the attic AIN"T **** compared to the one in that palacial room in the post # 51. Go check out that gear. Scroll down and look around that site. It's insane!!!!"SOME PEOPLE CALL ME MAURICE,
CAUSE I SPEAK OF THE POMPITIOUS OF LOVE" -

If I had those digs and income level, I'd just book a couple of live acts in that room a week and kick back. No remote required -- hell, no gear required. -
Have you guys seen Albert Porter's system? I don't know him from Jack, but he seems to be a very down-to-earth guy with an awesome system (of course, expensive):
http://forum.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/fr.pl?vaslt&1022712214I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie. -
Yeah, he's a photographer for audio equipment isn't he. I made a comment once about his system and he responded........real down to earth guy.Denon #2900, Denon stereo receiver, Conrad Johnson Sonographe 120 amp, Blue Jeans cables, and Klipsch RF-7's
