You guys probably know of Richard Carpenter from The Carpenters. Why don't we go check out his car collection? Or if you like, click here for the index to each and every one of his cars.

That is a really nice collection with a good mix of styles. Nothing too exotic or too rare but all are still VERY collectable."Just because youre offended doesnt mean youre right." - Ricky Gervais

I like the fact that a few of the cars, including his family's first new car from 1965, were owned and driven on a daily basis, and he still owns them, including the crappy Lincoln (which still looks new)! There's usually a good story to go along with each as well. Check out his fretting about buying a Plymouth in April 1970, needing his parents to co-sign the loan, hitting the big time in May 1970, then buying the most expensive Ferrari available in 1972.
It's obvious he's been a car nut for a long, long time. I didn't realize he was so cool. I think I'll go listen to some Carpenters. -

The 1959 Plymouth Sport Fury is an exceptionally cool, and collectable, model. It gave me flashbacks to being 17 again and cruising with some STEEL in the ride.
However, I won't be listening to any Carpenter's tunes anytime soon. -
I was just listening to some Carpenters last night. Great sounding recordings. Pleasant too. Nice cars! I saw in the faq's he has a Dennon stereo.
