Setting up Monitor 10's for HT
Okay, I'm selling my monitor 10's to my brother, and he's going to be using them in his basement HT as fronts. My question is, should they be set as large or small? He has an entry-level powered sub (unsure of model)... I just don't want to see him blow these speakers to bits by setting them to large when they should be small... They should be designed to take the thumps, I'm just worried about large explosions and stuff. My brother does like his movies loud...
He currently has some POS Bose speakers that were given to him, which weight damn near NOTHING, and have no bass response at all. He's had the 10's in his HT before and liked them enough that he wants to buy them now. I think this is going to be something that will change, but not for a little while, anyway.
Or maybe I should just realise that I'm _selling_ these speakers to him, not loaning, so I really have no say as to how they're treated . That's life.

Ludicrous gibs!
